Damn Peter. How much does that TT weigh? Probably more than most speakers.
Yes. The 12FH just got delivered on Wednesday; trying them out as I still have my Tannoy Kensington GR (uk made). I'm still running in the 12FH using an old tuner. I have a set of Stack Audio Auva 70 to try when I get the correct studs/bolts for the back-foot -- didn't realize the back-foot on the 12FH is made of wood.
I found at 24 hours they started to get a bit more bass. At 125 hours they opened up a bunch. At 325 hours the difference was greater from 125 to 325 than 0 to 125. They absolutely need 350ish hours.
Just listened for a bit...I can see why you are in love with the 12FH. Although mine have only ~80 hours on them, there's already a meaning full amount of change. Smoother sound. Better height, depth, and width. Also better layering...even my 19yo niece, who's an amateur violinist, clearly noticed the difference and improvement.
To me the amount of emotion they convey with the massive amount of dynamics and the ability for great musical insight while never sounding analytical of hifi is a real treat.
My man -- it's so funny you brought up the tools you are using. Here are the ones I use, including an angle gauge. I've been playing with set-up and positioning quite a bit -- fwiw the speakers now have a pitch of 4.75-4.8 degrees.
These are done with a lowly iPhone12 Mini.

A wintry overview. Speakers are dipoles with closed box subwoofers below 45 Hz. A four-way system. Lots of Linkwitz and Finke ideas went into it. Some extra electronics under the 51 years old Thorens.
Very cool. I'll have to try your angle/pitch. Btw, that Klein is just a distance measuring tool. The silver thing, AccuRemote is the angle finder/gauge. Might have to try a digital level. Thanks
