I have this (from Amazon):
I am impressed with the huge emission of certain components, DC and USB cables. And a lot of electrostatic speakers ...!

How far were the amplifiers from the speakers? I believe they suggest a minimum distance of 3 feet between speakers and amplifiers.
I have had bad experiences regarding the magnets of the speakers generating distortion on electronic equipment very close to them. The warning is on the user...
LUSH SQ is very good just out the box, but will improve after 100 hours burn in... and even more after 200 !
Please don’t disturb the form and the place of the cable and try to move it away form RFI sources like DC power cables, PSUs, USB 3.0 cable, etc...! At least 30 cms (12” away).

I just read it, thanks. Only opinions like mine and that I respect, circumscribed to the audio equipment that each one has and of course to the taste of each one.
What I want to clarify is that when someone refers to the "musical detail" is not something that impresses me, I do not want more...
In my humble opinion, it is not only a matter of transparency but of musicality. I love the Lush and it has been six months of being in my system, having tried almost all the possible USB cables.

I'm with you regarding Duelund Cast Cu as my favorite.
Tried the Jupiter Cooper but I found it a little too edgy in the highs.
But I believe is not only a personal preference, but system matching too. Maybe somebody with SE SET amplifiers would like better the Jupiter?
I'm waiting for...
How about coupling capacitors rolling?
By listening some other B7's with different caps but the same tubes the SQ differs.
I ordered some, arriving from next week to 4 weeks or so (some brands are hard to get...).
They are not cheap but a lot less than triode tubes, from US$200 to $500 by...
I'd better tell lukasz to optimize it for the KR242.
As I stated before mine is 308 mV and feel too high the output, and Mike's GG is 700 mV. Maybe the trick is in some other place, like voltage on music tube heaters?
Roch
Mike,
I guess it's in page 1 in the raw that indicates "Absolute maximum signal volume".
On my B7 is 308 mV that allows me to use 242 tubes, but, have to be careful with the preamp volume: Too much gain from the B7 with this tubes...!
I'm interested too, because maybe I'll upgrade to a...
SS rectis are basically rectifier diodes, tube rectis are tube diodes. Both converting AC to DC.
Here is an, maybe, interesting reading:
http://www.soldano.com/amp-help/tube-vs-solid-state-rectifiers/
ART sa amp I own have discrete regulation, meaning no ICs, but resistors, caps...
After 12 hours listening under SS recti I'm surprised, natural sound, excellent tone and rhythm, extraordinary tight bass and accurate midrange, without high frequency ringing. I have no complains regarding soundstage. Under extraordinary recorded classic music maybe is a lack of bloom, for...
Well, my Taka recti went to tube heaven two weeks ago. The day it died they were some people servicing the AC in my listening room. They were far away from the music gear rack and they swore the didn't touch anything, but you know, curiosity killed the cat...
I have new one from Woo Audio...

Christoph,
There is a lot electric / gas appliances that can got fire in a home, but now I understand your fear...
I saw some tubes failure in my lengthy audiophile life with all the consequences, some cap and associated resistor damaged but not provoking a real fire in my home...
Hi Christoph,
Yes my Lampi is ON all the time.
They talk about 40 Watts regarding power consumption. I can't not measure it at idle even my PSU has a screen for that.
This is what you can read from the user manual:
"Power on-off cycle
The tube lifetime, almost like the life of...
Rectifiers tubes could outlast your Lampi span life. It depends con the tube quality. They are talking (with some other tube gear) about 80,000 hours and more.
Regarding output triodes is the same and they work almost at idle in the Lampi.
But is better to let the Lampi all the time ON...
Or ingest some peyote that Don Juan, the Yaqui shaman and main character in Mr. Castaneda books, induced him to ingest.
I read some of his books, but being scared about peyote ingesting I didn't live the full experience :), but you are very right, it's about the same theory (experiences?)...
Île de beauté. My father home land.
I was raised there from 6 months to 4 years old, returned for 6 months at 17, then never visited again. About 16 hours 3 stop flight from where I live now and hate to fly !

Recent studies links Vitamin D3 deficiency to sleep apnea, but it's better to get a screen test on this before ingesting it (after 12 hours fast). Also this deficiency causes insomnia. Vit B12 deficiency also cause insomnia
16 hz lover is right, I know a lot of young (and thin) people with...

Last March I finish in an hospital emergency room for ventricular arrhythmia.
A wise MD, after the arrhythmia treatment, ordered tests for sleeping apnea. The first one was very simple, a holster for 24 hours, because I was positive he send me to an sleeping disorders clinic where have...
A week ago KR PX-25 arrived and now I agree with Al Rainbow. It's a very clean sound tube, detailed and with and incredible middle bass, at least on my system. With the Tak regulator, of course. And I have to agree with Al on this too, the regulator is a very important on the Lampi final SQ...
I got a couple of weeks ago, from Brent Jesse, the NOS Cca Telefunken diamond mark, made in Germany, gold pins, replacing an EAT ECC88 on my CJ ET5 Preamp.
Love it !
This is the third EAT tube I have to replace, maybe is not a long life tube?
Roch
Hi Mariusz,
Ii's hard to recommend tubes on a different system and maybe taste.
I like better 101D Replica (not the plain 101D) than the PX4, but the KR242 over 101D Replica by a large margin.
Regarding rectifier tubes I listened to the KR 5u4g rectifier and found it a little harshly on...
