300 B for L- 7000

One of my EH 300 B's just went out. Should I just order another pair of the same? Anyone have experience with these tubes as voltage regulators. In my old Decware CSP3 the voltage regulator tube set the stage for the pre-amp.

I would call David from Hammertone audio. Allnic is now making their own 300b's. I don't know the cost of or how they sound or longevity.
