I have a regular patient who is a renowned classical singer in great demand w local and national/international companies.
Even at her level of notoriety Lol, she only really makes a decent living by teaching on the side, workshops, remote/interactive teaching, and 1-2-1 tuition and teaching in schools...plus some non music family business income.
Her gigs work has dried up completely, but here online world still brings in earnings.
And she is v happy she's diversified, because she'd be sunk otherwise...and she feels for those orchestra employees who rely purely on that (now absent) paycheck.
In UK, that means 3 months govt paid furlough IF the orchestra company has applied on yr behalf.
