I am getting super frustrated with this problem. I have a AndroidTV box with great DRC capabilities. However, when connected to the soundbar the DRC settings have no effect whatsoever. It works fine when using the internal speakers of the TV. The box and the soundbar is connected through HDMI. The audio output from the box to the soundbar is PCM. This makes the box process the sound and send it to the soundbar, right? I really don't understand what's the issue. I am a big fan of DRC for watching movies at night.
