Anthony's review of the Soundsmith Straingauge (plus Fremer's) was pivotal to me purchasing it. I recall really liking the lack of flim flam in his words, he got across his intent really clearly. Too bad more reviewers don't value economy and clarity in their writings.
Sad indeed I also perused with vigour his words and stories via the Absolute Sound in its Halycon days!--evidently and he was touted as a supremely learned gentleman and revered offical in the Halls of power.
I recall his utterance during the Moon landing commentary mentioning the Hasselbad camera--this being the first commercial from the Moon.
