Ron,
Excellent video. I've had the pleasure of interacting with Jeremy in many years past. Every show and every dealer setup where he's shown up there has been absolutely fantastic sound. If I had a large enough room, and of course the capital to afford the Extreme system, I would most assuredly do just that. An all-MBL system properly setup is my cup of tea for sure. I hope they'll be in Costa Mesa this year. My dealer in Newport Beach is the new dealer mentioned by Jeremy in the video. I'm very much looking forward to that system landing and being properly setup by Jeremy. With the past as an indicator, it will be amazing and I'd bet anyone looking for a change will be highly enticed.
I agree with many of the positive commnts about your interview regarding MBL Extremes...learned some things I did not know about them, their flexibility of set up not just in-room but specifically in relation to how far apart/clse the sub towers can be while still be within the control of the adjustable features of the speaker design. They can be as far apart as 10 feet and as close as virtually touching...that is remarkable flexibility in their design. I like that. And at 6 x 12" per channel, dual-opposing, a very powerful set of sub-towers which a relatively svelte footprint for something so large.
If you have ever heard the Extremes especially in a good size room they need 4 of those bass towers not 2 for optimum room dispersion to fill in with the main modules ..!

Good to know! Do you think your observation would be true about most sub solutions for big rooms and systems…or do you think your observation is around this particular set of sub towers in particular?
