saw highlights of the thrilling 49ers vs saints game. smith can carve a name for himself if he wins one more game. maybe the new bay area superhero when he wins 2 more.

It was IMO one of the most exciting football games I have ever seen esp since I am a 49rs fan

Count me almong those who aren't drinking the Tebow Kool-Aid ... If he doesn't find a way to become more accurate he'll be a back-up soon... He hasn't completed %50 of his passes in 2 playoff games...
SF has surprised me .. They looked god but not dominant ..then again they were playing the 'aints
It wasn't decided until the end ..The Giants are scary both to their opponent and to their fans ... The Pats are downright scary ... If they continue to play this way both reach the SuperBowl ..
Tebow not withstanding, Brady had all night to throw with ZERO pass rush while Tebow was scrambling for his life all night. On Denver's best night, they would have never stood up to Brady's incredible arm and offensive line.
I think if the two teams (Green Bay and New York) both play their best game, Green Bay will win. My prediction is Green Bay versus New England in the Super Bowl. And the winner will be ....... (who knows).
Whatever happens to SF, the coach should be Coach of the Year. What a turnaround!!!

Totally and we can throw out the weak schedule based upon the previous years record argument for sure. The 49ers are for real.
Giants now up three scores 30-13 with 6 mins to go. Looking more and more like another rematch with 49ers!
And the Niners will have homefield if that happens. Giants just converted for a 1st down. 3 and a half minutes to go.
Giants up 17, 2 minutes. Niners vs Giants. These 2 had their big matches, most memorable to me was the fake punt Bill Parcells called on 4th down and the Giants went on to beat the Niners and the Bills for the SB.

Giants playing like they are capable of .. like they are supposed to play.... Confusing defense, not the swarming defense that engulfed the Falcons, rather disguised, fake coverage... misdirection and incredible play by Manning and the unsung Giants receivers corps ... Recipe to instill fear in opponents hearts. I am not sure the 49ers can beat those Giants .. As I say Look forward for a Giants Pats showdown in February .. Giants win it all
Oh and of course like any self-respecting New-Yorker ... Tom Coughlin remains as coach .. We always thought he was doing a great job anyway

The NFC Championship will be a great game and BTW, all you guys who were claiming the Pack was going to win (not me) are the same saying the Pats to take the AFC (not me)
I like Phil's suggestion of a Baltimore-49er Super Bowl (Harbaugh bros) with revenge going to SF to pull off the whole enchilada

Not taking anything away from the Giants, it appears that some imposters were wearing Green Bay uniforms. I can't remember a worse recent Green Bay performance, some of which was certainly NY imposed, but not all.

It was evident who had the swagger on Sunday. Seems Giants wanted the game more while GB thought they would come from behind to win this, as they have abfewbother games this year. I don't think they were prepared for the Giants intensity and not letting up for whole game!
