What about audio equipment changes in the wrong slot?, consider this... I have found that usually it takes x2 times the street price of any given component to really tell a difference for the good, considering an upgrade from let's say a $
5k amp to a $7k one could be a painfull decision, not to say of runing the risk to set a step back in sonic reproduction ( dont ask me how I learned this....).
I am just in the process to get a 32 Hunter Marine sail boat, I considered getting a larger one but since this will be my first boat AND the sales person shared with me a math similar to what Amir pointed out, I found that size the best in the "stupidity curve" on the P/P ratio.
