Aries Cerat with Wilson Audio

… yeah, still interested, be great if you could ask? Think the Essentia might be just a little underpowered for the Sasha DAW?

Heard back from the Sasha owner today and he said "no problem" with the Essentias, and he's had them quite a bit louder than you stated above.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It`ll be quite an experiment to try these 80kg amps in my room but I just might give it a shot. I always thought it`s a decision, go with Wilsons and you are limited in Amps (as they require strong power, Daryl Wilson himself recommends 200 watts minimum and even 500 watts +) and on the other hand, go with Aries Cerat and you are limited speakerwise, as they aren`t the most powerful... be interesting to see how the synergy is between the two, never thought they could/would qualify for a perfect match...

Every speaker I've paired with the 60-Watt Quintessence has performed at its absolute best.

One of my Field Coil Horn Speakers sounded fantastic with the Atma-Sphere Nirvana 120-Watt OTL amps, but the bass and mid-bass always felt a bit lacking.

The moment I introduced the AC Power Amp into the setup, the bass and midrange improved dramatically. The tonality and timbre became far more pleasing, and the overall presentation felt significantly more musical. Even when relying solely on the AC Power Amp, the system outshined expectations, despite the amp delivering far fewer watts.

Current Is King where challenging loads are concerned … The rated output in Watts doesn’t always guarantee a synergistic outcome.
