Anyone using this outlet?

? Contacts / Copper alloy + platinum special ruthenium special plating for both N and L poles ? Earth contact / copper alloy + Ni plating
? Body / impact resistant, chemical resistant nylon resin
? Frame / copper alloy Ni plating ? Allowable current / 15 A
? Property Processing / Signature Nano Cryo Processing
We made a special ruthenium plating contact based on Akko made medical outlet and we were able to reduce the contact noise to the utmost limit at any contact regardless of the material of the plug. The inner plate adopts a double spring structure to increase the degree of adhesion of the contacts.

Very diff from Furutech NCF socket!
The ruthenium is much much warmer but not as mushy as gold plating.
We bought this Audio Replas from shops in Japan. It's more expenaive than NCF.

When you say warmer, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean to say NCF are harsh-sounding?

I myself am using a few NCF sockets and a few NCF power-plugs in my audio system too.
NCF cannot be described by a simple word of "harsh".
However we all know that diff metals give diff sonic characters : copper, silver, gold, rhodium...etc.
The rhodium used in the previous Furutech models and the current NCF does have a specific character.
IMHO the upper midrange and treble range of NCF is definitely not warm.
But it can be of great advantage to an audio system if being used appropriately.
