With your stunning room, the 4500 would really be a nice upgrade (even without the Lumagen.

I do HIGHLY recommend if you go this way to actively consider the Panamorph Paladin. Not cheap but does add extra brightness. for scope output.

Haven’t dove into an anamorphic rig yet but may well for this generation upgrade. Good to hear you think it’s a major plus.

I've used Panamorph lens for over 15 years always on a motorized sled. In this case, it is fixed. You can go to AVSForum and check out the accolades. The brightness increase is measurable. Over 30% !! And with HDR, brightness is always a plus!!

30% is a pretty big and yeah, HDR can really use it. May well hemmorage some more $$ for it. Gotta think it through with my setup, which is a 16:9 screen and projector location probably at the near edge of minimum distance. What's the cost ballpark?

Given my frustration with constantly having to tweak HDR depending on source, I’m leaning toward NX9, but we’ll see.
