Best and worst audio purchases in '13

No it's the new one , does dsd and has the pro network interface. The UMT is less thN 3 months old , I have the rec,s and the serials with dates on the box. For once it was my turn , I got it all for about 50 off USA prices. The guy put it on the web and I was looking around for one . And when I seen it , I just wanted to make sure it was used but the correct items .

It has all options and the diamond base too . But I have ordered the DUAL transport base as well now.

You got a killer deal. For 50% off I would have bought the transport myself just to try it.

It was so good I did not believe it . Really. I had to say yes quickly and do pricing as well. It was a bit stressing and a back transfer for payment too. Really scary. And I saved a little due to transfer as well. The guy was a sweet heart . He owned a company as well so good business intensions as well. And the worse and best part was hearing for the first time and going back and forth cause the change was so dramatic I cpuld not imagine it to be true and so depressing to think all had was just garbage compared .

Lol yea . I'm from NYC and I really thought I was being hosed. I asked for the serial numbers as well and did a little research too. When I listened to the three level dacs, I could not tell one from the other . From platinum to diamond was so small for my un educated ears I could not wish to spend the extra money. But I'm sure I will someday lol.

Best:
- Four new ASC tubetraps
- Berkeley Alpha DAC 2
- 2 External BorderPatrol MB Power Supply Units for my tube monoblocks

All of these combined resulted in revealing an incredible resolution from Redbook CD that I had not thought possible by a long shot.

(The four tube traps augmented two already existing tube traps and 11 sound panels from ASC.)
