MBL of N America had an excellent sounding set-up using their 101 models and huge monoblocks.
It also sounded surprisingly good. The speakers and amp cost less than $10K total. From what I heard, that combination is an amazing value.
Yup, I agree wholeheartedly with your description. Thankfully I do have 10 feet ceilings and these fit just right in my listening room. Mine are the same in a different finish that matches my room decor. Nice that you can customize these to your furniture. These Sound Labs 9 ft towers I need to listen to much more extensively, to fully decipher their enormous potential and negatives, but in some performance areas no speakers regardless of price can match them! You better have at least 10 ft ceiling, and be prepared to enter another dimension of sight and sound!

I know 2 people with Odyssey Amps. About a $6500 set of monoblocks. I doubt in a blind test you would pick them apart from something costing $50,000
These look like the older Apogees that were popular in the 90’s.

Agreed! These sounded greatvery good and smooth were Mc Tech from the Phily area using the flat driver tech from the Linaneaum from 90s, but much more refined. Great value, and Mr Gallo is great to talk to. Very musical set up!
