Just a-wondering if anyone is going to CEDIA EXPO this year. I will be there if anyone wants to meet for lunch / drink / dinner. Another fun pursuit is touring the sound rooms (demo rooms). Weds, Thurs, Fri are my days. I'm really looking forward to it, it's always a great time meeting people, hanging out and seeing all the cool stuff on the show floor. Floyd Toole is gonna be there too running some courses (basically a three part version of his book), and hopefully I will get to have lunch with him again this year.

Also a-wondering if anyone is not going but really wants a report on something, well let me know and I'll do my best to take photos/ask questions for u!

Hi Nyal. Thanks for starting the thread. I always go. Problem is that I usually have back to back meetings while there :). But let's touch base when we get closer and see if we can hook up.

And yes, Dr. Toole's course is worth attending the conference by itself!

I will be arriving Weds evening and leaving on Sunday morning. Hope to see you guys.

If I see you I will be sure to say hello! Anything you are looking forward to seeing? Personally I'm looking forward to chatting to the LumenCache people.

I have not heard any hints of enticing new products but the pre-CEDIA noise is lower than in the past.

So...who IS going?!

Hi Nyal,

I'll be driving down tomorrow afternoon and in town through Sunday. I had meant to drop you a note and hoped we might catch up to chat while at the show. For those who will be around tomorrow night, there is a small dinner with a decent group of guys attending from the $20k+ forum at that other place.
