What is the speaker directly to the outside of each Magico Q7? (the ones also adjacent to what I think are Q5s)?
I have but it's been over a year and I can't say it was a sound that I remember well. It was hooked up to all Naim electronics and it seemed accurate, reasonably smooth and definitely had that controlled sound I hear from sealed speakers. A little restrained but overall I remember thinking it was pleasant to listen to. It reminded me of the Magico house sound (older V series, have not heard Q series).
It is very interesting to see the Nordost Sort Futs under the Vivaldi...has anyone tried this? It seems that they have the cones marketed toward electronics, and the Sort Fut for speakers...has anyone here matched them up under a digital or amplification piece?
Great photo! Very surprising how much bigger the Reference amps are compared to the Performance amps. I thought they were hard to tell apart (until now)!
