Critical Mass Footers under Amps?

I am not sure if using the Critical Mass footers 1.0 size under my mono amps is a good thing. The bass maybe seems a little less dynamic and deep, but I am not sure.
Can anyone add input or share on their experience using these footers under amps?

I have CMS footers under everything; phono preamp, tuner, line-stage preamp, line-level electronic crossovers, their power supplies (for the front end stuff), 3 amplifiers, main speakers, and my turntable. I'm generally using the 1.0s. I have used them in one version or other for more than 2 years. As you might guess, I like them (I didn't want to....).

My observations are as follows:

1) The latest 2M versions are noticeable better at everything than the earlier 2s. (It figures. I bought the 2s first.)
2) On electronics, you'll hear the biggest and most positive difference on the source components.
3) My line stage pre-amp and electronic crossovers clearly benefitted and were next in importance.
4) I did hear an improvement with the amps, but not as quite much. If anything the bass was audibly deeper and tighter. Not sure about dynamics. If you think using them under your amps doesn't sound as good, they're either not fully run in, or your amps are sitting on something that's limiting the footers effectiveness e.g. I wouldn't put the amps directly on a carpet, but hardwood floor would be ok.

Oh, I was quite surprised at the improvement using the 2" Ultra TTs under my turntable. Wow!

Hope this helps!

Well if you like the 2M ithey are not the current version. As great as theyare the newest version is Ultra TD and Uiltra TT. The latter are self leveling which obviates the need for a shim

Have you tried his newest version speaker feet

I have the original LS speaker feet and really like them, Steve. I also have the Ultra TDs under my SACD/CD player. I have enjoyed the improvements that the 2 and 2M versions made to my setup, and I appreciated your help supplying me with the earlier versions, some of which I still use. I'm at the point now where I'm just enjoying listening to music.
