Dartzeel shutting down operations?

No website is not down, they are just not making product at this time ! In the future some time they will launch a less expensive line to save the day. And the trouble is all the fault of bad pricing structures in the high-end business. Lead by Dartz by the way. Do you hear those bells in the background, those are alarm bells going off ! ;) I doubt anyone, including die hard dart fans are placing orders right now.
Love the sarcasm

Website is not down and his message is clear to me. What don’t you find clear?
Normally a website is more than a contact form.

Their site is basically saying : we are done but we don’t want our customers to feel fucked, so you get this nice message from us. Then when they don’t pay their ISP bill, the site will be taken offline.

Don’t want to repeat myself but the statement Herve made can be described as “LOL”.

If it’s a lie, ok, then yes I understand. But I’m afraid it’s not. You just don’t take your own website down.
The post Herve made is also disingenuous and laughable.
Its clear you dont know the man. He is a real stand up kinda guy.

Can we get this guy banned? These comments are so stupid and add zero value.
I'll be blocking you regardless.
How stupid can you be? What's happening is clear: a new line, and he will take care of customers. Simple as that. Get over yourself.

What’s happening with DarTZeel is unfortunate, but by no means unique to them. I expect this will happen to other brands and retailers, especially in the next downturn. There are retailers that added many locations post-Covid, thinking the Covid driven demand will continue — that’s simply not what’s happening.
Most of the companies serving the high-end are tiny, and a tiny company is always one or two customers away from bankruptcy.

And charging the few customers they can scrape together ridiculous prices, is obviously not the solution. Hopefully others will learn that lesson.

They are NOT out of business. I spoke with Herve directly. And the website [which you clearly haven’t read, nor clicked the links above] clearly states that all existing instruments will continue to be serviced and taken care of. He will be back with a new product line.

“Dear members of the darTZeel family, music lovers around the world, I’ve chosen to venture into new territories in the audio field and dedicate time to shaping the future of High-End audio.
The fortunate owners of darTZeel instruments who wish to upgrade and maintain their listening systems will always be welcomed with the same passion and the same quality of service.”
From the viewpoint of a potential customer, this looks like a non-functional company; if not out of business, pretty close to it. There is no product to buy; they've pulled all product information. There may or may not be product to buy in the future; what this product may be is completely unknown.

If a dealer claims I can still get product (that I can no longer get information on except from historical reviews from third party sources), I'd have to take it on faith that after putting a substantial deposit down said product would eventually show up. And who knows whether it will be serviceable 5 years from now. There are enough red flags here that I would never consider purchasing a darTZeel product at this point, new or used.

Others can of course feel free to do whatever they want with their money. And if you already have darTZeel product your viewpoint might be very different.
