Experiences With The Ikeda Tonearms?

Anyone have thoughts about the newest generation Ikeda arms? I am looking at the IT-345 CR-1 for my SOTA. I spoke with them and they say a reduced weight armband can be built to install this arm.

As I understand it the earlier Ikeda arms were a continuation and refinement of the Fidelity Research arms. Does this story still hold true for these new generation ones? It seems some people think the legendary 64S is a superior performer.

Any thoughts or experiences you have to share would be appreciated.

Of this lot, the Ikeda 407 (chrome, not Matt) with the Dava reference is by far the best combo, and one of the best combo I have ever heard.

Same system below with videos https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/videos-cessaro-zeta-dava-turntables-alieno-thrax-phono.39373/

They sounded very good on the Torqueo ( ikeda arm and ikeda cartridge )
One of the best analogue TT sound i ve heard to date.
The combo makes me wanna buy a TT again

Ikeda 407-SS with a Lyra Atlas Lambda SL on Garrard 301. I like this combination a lot. The 407-SS is a 12” arm. I also have a Reed 3P Cocobolo 10.5" arm for this table. The Reed 3P is nice but the 407-SS provides a more enjoyable experience for me. But you should listen to one for yourself. Turntable, tonearm and cartridge combinations are very individual tastes IMO. What someone else likes and prefers could be very different than what you like and prefer.
