No. I did many speaker corner, classic records, Fone, analog productions, ORG, ERC, represses by Decca etc and other compares at the General (and using some of those records in different SS/cone based systems), then just gave up. It is very easy to hear. For this particular original, the dynamic range and purity is extremely high.

This is an LP I really like but I could never find a really clean first pressing, the ones I listened may be worn as they sounded less dynamic and also had some noise, so I just keep listening the Speakers Corner reissue.

That's the case with many unfortunately. So yes, best not to listen to originals, then speakers corner and classic records are very good.

Arhhh...that would be an unfair advantage indeed. I wish I have that precious original.

I sent back the Japanese Super Analog because I didn't like. The Decca G sent to me is made in Holland not the original.

That is the best bass texture accompanied by dynamics I have heard.

Some very fortunate prospective owners will be at an endgame most could not dream of.
