Good Day All.. Thought I would share some pictures and thoughts after visiting a friend and enjoying some music yesterday.
Was a great way to spend part of a rainy day. I got to hear some great Vinyl as Sinatra came alive through the Soundlabs and Micro Seki TT. I held out for digital, but I have to say... I never heard Frank so Good !! Wow... A very enjoyable experience..
The amp is the Pass X350 which was the most neutral sounding Pass amp I ever heard..
The pass XP25 phono stage sounded great, but was also impressed when my friend swapped and compared a sub $1K battery powered phono stage. It was
quite impressive compared to the XP25 !!
Was great to get out and go back in to hear more music ! Enjoy, I Did !

Very nice system and photos.
Could you tell us what brand the battery powered phono stage was?

What a nice room. And even headphone gear. .I noticed the 2A3/300b head amps on either side of the Micro Seiki. Anyways, the commonly raved-about sub 1k battery phono is the RSA F-117. I wonder if that's what was demoed here?

Those are Moth amps.. Good eye ! I believe you are correct on the model..

Yeah the Ray Samuels Audio (RSA) F-117 is a nice phono. It's a bit warm but at its price point is pretty impressive.

You are absolutely correct regarding both the MOTH 2A3 (with RCA monoplates in the left one) and the Ray Samuels F-117. I mainly use the MOTH for headphones. In addition to the Senn HD650 shown in the picture, I also have a pair of Audeze LCD-XC and HiFiMAN Susvara to round out my humble little collection of headphones.

Both very nice headphones.

A little off-topic but any suggestions as to where one can get a ReVox B225 cassette player repaired?
