For our fifth anniversary we stayed for the weekend at a self-contained tiny forest cabin with a mountain landscape view.

After many years my Weblo fire-starting training finally came in handy!

We drove to Lake Gregory, about 30 minutes away, and walked around the lake and stopped for a picnic.

Somebody jumped into the lake and got quite messy!

(Lola is wearing an anti-coyote suit so she doesn't wind up as some larger animal's tasty snack.)

Thank you, David!

Well, it is very, very tiny. I had to leave the cabin to change my mind.

At least Lola had a blast!

Actually, Lola walked too far out on a log into the lake, and didn't know how to turn around and come back. Tinka had to jump to the rescue and save our kid!

Thanks for inviting us along, Ron. Great photos and what a lovely location. I'm glad to see the great American outdoors is not completely shut down and can be enjoyed. I hope you brought along some Hershey's chocolate and Graham crackers to go along with those marsh mellows while sipping vodka during the fireside chats.

Congratulations on your anniversary. May you have many more.

Thank you very much, Peter and Steve and Cathy!

Happy Anniversary to both of you,...looks to be a beautiful place and time away!
