Happy Thanksgiving!

If it was at your place, you didn't just eat outside. You ate overlooking the fairway of the golf course in a gorgeous idyllic setting that is Americana at its best.

Thanks Marty

The golf course at this time of year is very beautiful. Deer everywhere each morning over the fairway

Are you close enough that you can hear the golfers yell "Motherf***er!" when they shank a shot?

I literally heard that exactly earlier this morning. Very common to get balls in my yard.

News flash! Steve's got balls! Seriously, I figured that if you were that close, you would hear the golfers screaming obscenities every time they hit a bad shot. When I was a young teenager (13-14), I caddied at the most exclusive country club in Louisville, KY (Big Springs). Most of the golfers were just rich hackers and those with the least talent cursed the worse. The funny thing was they always acted surprised when they hit a shitt* shot. Hell, I was surprised when they hit a good one. It was all I could do not to bust out laughing every time they hit another shanker and acted surprised.

We get wild turkeys, geese, deer, possums, racoons, and one giant hornet's nest in one of my trees right now.

I used to get wild turkeys each summer in my last house with all the 12-14 growing chicks. They can totally destroy your yard and virtually impossible to get rid of (due to state laws) until they move on.

Where I live they would be totally shot regardless of any laws.

Just donated my company Christmas turkey to The Salvation Army. I do it every year.

Hmmm...chocolate covered Hornets! :)
