I bought a Schiit Saga+ Preamp. It has 5 input sources, a remote control and the ability to be used in “passive” mode or not, which means engaging the tube or not.
To my question: I want to pair it with my Pioneer SX-1050 stereo receiver and use my Pioneer as an amplifier. The Pioneer has PRE OUT and POWER IN sockets when you want to bypass it’s preamp. I can’t figure out how to put cables in the right place to accomplish my goal. I hope someone can enlighten me.

Unless your Pioneer receiver has an Aux or CD Input (normally a pair of phono sockers) you can't connect them. If it has these inputs, connect your Shiit's Pre-Out using a pair of standard phono cables - but not to an input marked Phono or MM or MC as these are designed for turntables and are not linear.
