Dear All,

Introduce myself in this wonderful group after many years of reading I would like to show my vintage vacuum tubes collection

with the aim to show some hidden gems , rarities out of the same “club” of already posted and showed many time so far.

Hope to add value to the discussion, learn , share knowledge , experience in positive mood , feel free to build together

Marco

Let’s start :)

Full wave power rectifier type 5Z3 Marconi Made in Italy with black carbon plate (rugged plates) , upper getter squared , black base

heater is 5 Volt & 3 Ampere

base is 4 pin (2 fat) UX base American
I found also an adapter to use it in place of 5U4G / U52 with very good results

Below pictures of tube itself with carton box , adapter (available online adapter at affordable price) and test results over my tube tester Funke W19S , this tube is very strong & balanced systems

hope you like it :)

This is a WE56 Telefunken made in Italy (Telefunken Milan , with EOC label on glass) this is a full wave power rectifier tube with large mesh plates , hanging filament M shape , close in specs with the sought after G2504 / RGN2504, it draws a little less current than g2504 but for the rest is very close in specs, 4 volt heater. This tube WE56 has P8A base socket (eg same base of an AD1 Telefunken, not the pinout of course) but with an adapter (showed in pictures) you can use it in place of 5U4 / U52 , a video of the glow will follow with a separate post

Tube type PT14 M Philips NOS NIB , made by Philips in Italy , special design telephone serie , so called also “postal tube” not commercial valve , made to last long also in difficult conditions, extended lifetime ~ 10.000 hours. This type PT14 M is equivalent of Ca Siemens (postal tube) most known . This is a direct heater triode DHT for last stage audio. Already well tested and employed into Lampizator DAC (with adapters of course) , enjoy :)

Few more pictures of PT14 M stock :)
In a following post all technical data sheet if you may need them. Those tubes were not commercial ones so it can be difficult to get their proper values / technical data sheet , even if this tube is the equivalent type of the most well know Ca Siemens postal tube
