I think I was the original whiner on this one. For me, the problem disappeared without my taking any action. I am presently in break-in and evaluation mode for the MSB module. I am running my Roon full time , 24/7 (except when I shut down to switch modules) with no interruptions here.Ever since switching from USB out to XDMI out on the I/O, I've been experiencing random playback stoppages around two times a day. With a message that says "Roon lost control of the audio device". I remember seeing something about this happening to others here several months ago. But nothing recently.
Is anyone else still experiencing this? If so, is there a fix?
