Looks very cool, Stavros. The jumbo jet engine mid bass! In a good way. What driver did you select for the monster mid bass? I think it was previously an 8” right?

Finish is our proprietary Liquid Carbon ,applied on stacked ply

That is very cool, Stavros! There aren’t many choices of drivers to accomplish that. The ones that spring to mind with that exit are the 555 derivatives. So the 666 by Horn Solutions, the Lamar driver, the GIP 555, and I guess the Line Magnetic one.

Compression driver mid bass is surely the holy grail though. How low does the mid bass go before you transition to that monster folded bass horn?

I do love the fact that Aries Cerat go all in with these things. Take no prisoners type engineering.

Best wishes.

They are crossed at 105Hz.
Many crossover parameters are adjusted on the fly via Bluetooth app.we developed both the app and the electronics controlling and switching the parameters of the crossover.(group delay, variable slopes, level adjustment to name some parameters) .Not a digital or line-level crossover but fully fledged network :)
