I happened to stumble upon an image of JBL L212's on the Internet and was smitten with them.

I have never heard them myself, and never seen them before today.
1977, I was still in High School.
Was it one of the first 3-piece systems?

Every aspect of this system perform better then the vast majority of todays speakers with price tags many, many times the original price of these in the 70's. ($3,000) that was 1970'S money!
