Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, the Pocket Photo 2.0 can wirelessly print HD physical copies of digital snapshots and is small enough to sling in a bag or a jacket pocket.
Capable of pairing with a smartphone or tablet via NFC or Bluetooth, the Pocket Photo 2.0 can print 5.1x7.6cm (2x3 inch) pictures at a resolution of 313dpi. This means that they're clear, detailed and crisp enough to stick in a frame and hang on the wall.
The device has a big enough battery to print 30 photos on a single charge and has a companion app which allows users to add custom effects and filters to images and even to embed QR codes. As such it could be the perfect holiday companion.

Rather than dedicated ink cartridges, the Pocket Photo uses ZINK technolog,y which instead requires special paper that responds to heat. LG claims that it is a more cost effective technology and one that means that pictures don't smudge or mark during the printing process.

Available in pink, jewel white and lime yellow, the new Pocket Photo goes on sale in China this week and will be rolling out globally following its first live demonstration at the International CES, which gets underway in Las Vegas on January 7. LG is also expected to confirm pricing at the event.
