The lead content in the Solder does not comply with the ROHS EU Guidelines--Shindo is one of the Big name Companies that is banned also.

Good enough for the Military where it is mandatory !

yes Bruce, I know. I referred to the fact which you can buy Alpha USB in europe. I own one with original 240V setting. (which I sale now after I bought Totaldac Reclocker).

Yes, some countries in Europe are not in EC. It always possible to smuggle an unit in EC, but it is not the kind of thing I appreciate - customs will immediately seize it on arrival if they open the box, and if you have problems with it, it is impossible to export it for a repair.
