Lusting after a pair of MC1.2KW's .....

So he's dumping McIntosh for Burmester, and you want to go the opposite way? :D
Maybe he's got some cheap 1.2ks there for you :p

He's adding to the lines, not dumping anything. Actually, I was thinking of going all TAD electronics to match my speakers. Talk about synergy. I do like my Burmester gear, but happen to like my Dartzeel 108 with my GAT more.

I loved your TADs with the C-2000 pre/DAC and the stereo classe-D power amp (probably even better than the Lavry-Viola setup driving the CR-1s..!). Anyway, as it seems you like doing experiments (;)) you may want to try the Dart pre with your amp before going full TAD...

Hi docvale,

The Dart pre with my Burmester amps? Or my Dart amp?

Joe

--- Valerio, if I may; what kind of 'doc' are you?

...Practice surgeon? ...Cancer analysis & research department?
...What is molecular oncology? ...Has to do with cellular & molecular cell tissues regeneration? ...Laser termination of tumors (cancerous cells)?

Sorry for the off-topic, but this is quite very very very important, as I'm on the ledge of life & death because exactly that: probability of a cancerous tumor with spread.
Mainly for pure curiosity.

Thx

Hey Bob, sorry to hear that... :(
I'm licensed to clinical medicine in EU, not in the US. I'm working in a research unit in a cancer center, but I'm not dealing with treatments... just mechanisms that control cell fate.
Contact me in PM for more detailed information, I wish I may help in putting you in contact with someone who could provide the required treatments.

It's OK, I appreciate your concern.

It is my country (Canada), my body (Vancouver Island ...), and my life (family doctor, cancer specialists, and all that jazz).
I very very very rarely talk about this; because we are all gong to die eventually. And people don't like to talk about death.

Too bad, death is a major part of Life. ...Perhaps in another & appropriate thread ...

Bob,

I am sorry to read this news and hope it's not appropriate in the McIntosh thread ;)

-----I'm sorry Joe; I had a momentary lapse of reason.

Heat does that sometimes. :b ...Please, Bach at it; McIntosh Monoblocks. :b

I only mean, I hope McIntosh does not have any problems and lives forever, as well as you. ;)

---Well, whoever dies it's OK; no pain when you're already in heaven anyway. :b

- Gotta take the positive side of life right! :D

I did not know I was supposed to :) .....

Jadis' uncle went from Burm 909s to Mc 1.2s. I have no idea if he's happy with what he did, but I know for sure he did it.
