I am familiar with the power amps and the pre amp, IMHO there is nothing more 'transparent' but I am looking forward to hearing the dac and the JBL's be interesting to compare those with my Cessaro 'Chopin' which are also two way horns, compression driver for mids/HF and dynamic driver for bass, which is quasi horn in the case of the Chopin.
There is something about horns.

I just put two and two together and made the connection Mola Mola is the same as Hypex, well same guys that are at the helm. I cannot wait to see and hear this preamp. Sorry if I am a little late to the party.

I like listening to all types of music. I've found that some of the harshest sounding (on most other systems) music can be the most difficult to reproduce for all parts of the system. It's ironic and difficult to understand for me to say that so called crappy recordings can reveal big differences where other types of music make those differences mere subtlety.

This I fully agree with. Especially challenging for any system is highly compressed rock / pop music. The sound changes hugely from almost unlistenable to 'wow, I like this' when you step up the chain of equipment quality. A system that can't play back this type of music and sound engaging has major faults, IMO. A good example of such a record is The Naked and Famous Passive Me, Aggressive You: http://thenakedandfamous.com/. Another band that sounds infinitely more engaging on a proper system is Rufus Del Sol: https://www.facebook.com/rufussounds/ (BTW am pissed they are not coming to SF on their latest tour...)

The measurements are legit and are state of the art. Distortion is too low to measure with the best AP test gear.

The DAC design is fully discrete and can be updated at anytime via software. This is the worlds first complete pulse width modulation ("PWM") DAC. Here's Bruno describing his design.

Thanks Nyal, I really liked Punching in a Dream and Eyes. Sounded pretty good and not as compressed as some pop music I have heard. The rest of the songs are just annoying as hell, not my type of music.
