Outside of limited edition small class A, no Nuvista, no huge class AB behemoths or any of his other short term design decisions to them move onto another topology.

I had the A1 and the M50 with matching preamp later, the A1 was special! I have several of it's more modern iterations but they don't have the magic.

I personally think that the aluminium bodied ones look nicer still. Just enough fancy build to let you know its special - but not Liberace bling!I actually agree. I much prefer wood as a look. The Lyra Connoisseur was a beauty.
