I've had my Constellation Reference server for several months now and I'm very happy with it. The Reference is the best server I've heard to date, connected to my Total DAC d1-Seven via USB. I was recently able to try out a Diretta bridge on it and was even more amazed by the result! The Diretta's contribution to the server is truly remarkable and I think it will be my next evolution.
In any case, I'm very satisfied with this superb brand (Pachanko)!

Can you reveal how you connected Diretta Target? Do you still use switches SOTM? Can you describe what changed in the sound when you added DT? How big an improvement in sound?

Yes I still continue to use sotm switch. The biggest difference I heard was that the sound stage moved backwards and reduction in noise.Airier and cleaner sound.I definitely think it's worth buying.
sotm switch to pachanko (via ethernet) pachanko to diretta via ethernet cable. Diretta to totaldac via usb cable
very nice pics, hoping you get great feedback!
So if Im not mistaken, I see to constellation masterpieces, and in the all black system, the reference + a stellar LPS , probably feeding a diretta target?

Chan immersed in his creation, the Pachanko Reference server. Spacious soundstage, musical, articulate, airy, sustain, presence. It is not just sound, it is the music experience.
Hi, All. I have a Pachanko Mini SE (with external Stellar PS) on the way, expected to arrive in one or two days. I currently run Roon ROCK on a NUC and have my music library on the internal drives of a NAD M50.2, which is a Roon Endpoint and functions as my player. The NUC and the NAD are both connected to an Ethernet switch and the NAD is connected to my DAC (a Denafrips Terminator).
I plan to move my music library to my new Pachanko's internal 2TB drive and continue to run Roon until I decide if I want to go with Diretta. Do I simply plug the portable HDD I've copied my music to into one of the Pachanko's USB ports, and use AnyDesk to copy those files to the internal drive?
Thanks!
The Constellation Mini SE differs from the majority of the competition by running on Windows software using either Roon, Audirvana and other playback software
I am a happy new owner of the Pachanko Constellation Reference server combined with the SPEC RMP-UB1. The main driver for my acquisition was an audition of this setup in a friend’s house against the Wadax Atlantis server. In my opinion the Pachanko SPEC combo clearly outperformed the Wadax Atlantis in terms of resolution and musicality and it was a shock for me considering the price difference between the two.
That is why I decided to try the Constelation Reference in my house as a replacement for my Roon Nucleus as a Roon Core server. The initial plan was to keep the Pachanko as a Roon Core and my APL DNP-SR MKII as a Roon end point. Of course it was a huge upgrade from Roon Nucleus as someone would expect. But replacing the APL streamer with the SPEC and using the Diretta protocol was another serious upgrade.
Again, that was another result I did not expect because APL is one the best standalone streamers that exist in the market today. Apparently, the guys that created the Diretta protocol and the people in Pachanko have somehow found the Holy Grail of the digital audio. You have to listen in order to believe the sound of the combination of Pachanko and SPEC.
