NAD M23 versus Benchmark AHB2

Then you are 50% below system potential with an all in one setup ..!

But you’re happy, that accounts for much .. :)
I'd put my all-in-one up against any 4-box pile of separates that cost the same price. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise, although obviously a pile of separates each costing as much as my all-in-one will give it a run for its money.

I'd further suggest that, if a much bigger portion of an audio budget is put into separates, the balance left for speakers will result in disproportionately poor-performing ones and consequently poorer sound quality. As I said, if budget is no problem, perhaps a different matter.

A pile of separates, unless all well chosen and bought at the same time, will inevitably have a "weak link". An all-in-one should have all its component parts representing matching quality and performance. But as long as we are all happy ....

Are you happy with it?
That is all that matters as you have to live with it.
Who cares what @Audiohertz2 said.

Yes, who cares what he says, or what I say, or what you say?

A forum is an area for discussion, not for everyone to agree with everyone else. Comparing experiences, opinions, asking and answering questions, etc is what forums are about and I'm very content to contribute, whether others agree with me or not and I'll take on board others' ideas that I maybe have never considered myself. If anyone has a closed mind, they'll learn nothing from a forum and may as well sign off.

I've learnt tons of stuff from this and others forums, both audio and other interests and I appreciate a good discussion provided they are logically made and not unfairly critical of others' opinions.

Live and let live.
