Magical thinking going on here.
Who is John Galt?!

I couldn't agree more! I use the R2's in different places throughout my system and room. All in, I have currently use ten of them. As far as I'm concerned it's pure voodoo. I don't know how they work, I just know that there have been undeniable improvements in sound as I have introduced them into my system. I totally understand the skepticism, because if I wasn't hearing it with my own ears I'd feel exactly the same way.

At the end of the day, I've learned that key to a breathtaking audio system is to eliminate as much noise and distortion as possible. Stirling Trayle told me that there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to turn your system to "eleven" if you so choose. It has taken me a lot of fine tuning and tweaking to achieve that. Frankly, the R2's were the final piece of the puzzle. So, after the dedicated electrical, proper racks, footers and vibration control. After all the room treatments. After reinforcing the floor with steel beams. After buying the new Stenheim platforms for Alumine 5SE's, YES there is quite an audible difference when the R2's were strategically introduced into the system. Voodoo? Maybe? But I will never take them out. These are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow as far as I'm concerned. I hope one day you find your Galt's Gulch. I know I have.

Atlas Shrugged but why 10?
Great question! It's really just where I've ended up. They come in sets of four. I gave two of my first four to a friend. I bought one more set of four. Put them to use and loved the improvement. I started considering other potential uses for them. Experimented with different scenarios and decided to buy four more. I'm very happy with the current configuration. Who knows what the future holds.

Thanks for the insight, may give them a spin…

Myself I do have eight of these B2 in my system . On an already well tuned system , they do bring another layer of « musicality » that nothing else will do .
It is a little bit mysterious but they obviously do act on a parameter of sound reproduction that all the other traditional audio tweak do not adress .
The key is to use them in the location where they are the most effective .It does require some experimenting but the reward is there .
The effect is not psycho acoustic or placebo , if you remove them immediately the musicality collapse ..

All my audiophile friends who have tried them , have bought them .

Neodio is a good company

Are the Neodio B2s and Heartsound Holostages doing something similar or complementary?

Most people who buy a set of 4 buy another set of 4 shortly after the first set. 12 seems to be a good number. You can get 16 but it seems we start running out of effective places to put them after that.

I tried the B2’s and heard no difference at all. I now have the Holostages and find there is a massive improvement in my system. My neighbor also tested both of these products and says he heard no difference with either.

My suggestion to anyone thinking the B2's don't "work" is to take at least 2 of them (and maybe all 4 just to maximize the effect) and place them on the floor in front of the left speaker. (Just to be clear, they should be taken out of the box and each one placed on the floor with the "protrusion" facing the floor). There should be a clear an obvious shift in the sound. I am not saying you will like this. In fact, it will be really bad. The only purpose of this is to get past the "is this placebo" thing.
