New 468 monos

Many thanks for the feedback on your trial. May I ask if you tried the CH Precision L1 preamp with X1 power supply? Were there any other noticeable differences apart from transparency e.g. timbre....was the Dart preamp richer sounding? Many thanks

Yes I tried L1+X1 .As the testing period was short I did not try L1 without X1.
I have been able to compare 3 top swiss preamps : L1x1, Dart and Soulution 725.(and I used to have Accuphase c2850)
In a nutshell, all fantastic preamps with great drive and transparency .
Soulution : a lot of drive and dynamics. Dark tone
Ch p : fast, clean, soundstage precision and.details, probably the most transparent. Neutral tone.
Dart : also fast but not.as.fast as the previous ones, a lot of details as well,.clarity tone a bit "tilt up", probably the best for the midrange. Supposed to.have excellent phono input but I.am not into tt.
However works (much) better with the zeel or rca inputs /outputs and the synergy with non Dart amps must be tested. You can have some hiss as well.
So to me you absolutely need to listen in your system . Dart pre is probably a bit more sensitive than CH Precision to downstream/ upstream gears but if it fits it's an infinite source of pleasure !

I heard the Heisenbergs in direct A-B-comparison with the darts. Some room, same electronics, same cables. Because the Heisenbergs are cheaper, I wanted to know if they are an alternative. They were not. Playing fast and detailed, but I missed the musical soul. Micro-dynamics, timbre, timbre was better with DarTZeels. And fast and natural detailed.

Was this with the stern preamp

In direct comparison I prefer the BNC to RCA and XLR. But depends on choice of cable program too.
