New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Things at the top In the WC are again different with Denver now in a 2 way tie with the Wolves and OKC is 1/2 game back as they lost last night.

The hottest team in the league now is the Cavs with an 8 game win streak and solidly in 2nd place in the EC

I just cannot remember such a thrilling season. the big unknown is whether the trajectory for the Bucks is up or down. .

May not be the GOAT but Kobe for me provided years of endless enjoyment of the game...gone but never forgotten

Maybe Bucks will re group and go up again after the all start break. Giannis, Lillard and Middleton are not exactly the type to be on a free fall. Doc can take a cue from his assistant Ty Lue , who had a rocky start with the Clippers but now are on a cruise control level in winning games.

Meanwhile the Celtics are down by 7 at halftime to the lowly Wizards who have won a total of 9 games. Once again Boston strangler Poole is wreaking havoc with his scoring, just like in the Warriors C's Finals.

You gotta have faith Phil. Celtics right now is not a team I’d bet against. If they stay healthy it’s theirs to lose

meanwhile Doc finally gets another win and the Sixers are in free fall without Joel Embiid.

Lakers up shortly to face those pesky Pels

Yes Steve, the C's got their acts together but it wasn't exactly a cake walk that one gets to expect against a team with only 9 wins, BUT, I am impressed with players from the Wiz that I've never heard nor seen before - Avdija, Coulibaly, and Kisbert - all shooting at ease from the 3 pt line. Poole scored only 3 pts after 16 at the half.

Pelicans really look good on paper and seems underperforming. A very good coach is needed for them to get to the top tier, imo.

D Lo reminds me of the old IT of the Celtics. Leftie shooter and very prolific.

Not
I think before. Right now it's Willie Green.
Monty was coach then followed by Stan the brother of Jeff. Long ago it was Byron Scott who won the Coach of the year with the Pelicans.

I m glad the Lakers realized they aren't going anywhere this year and have stood pat with their team. This wy they have chance to develop their team, which , although young, do have potential. They have had injuries all year ad have yet to play with a healthy team. The rest of the season they will be spoilers as I cannot see them doing this year what they did last year. Yesterday they destroyed the Pels in the first half as they scored 87 points in the first half. For once the Lakers saw the light and knew they have no path to winning this year. I thoroughly enjoyed last night's game and never expected the Lakers to win.

And yes LeBron looks like something that fell out of Zion's ear. Zion should be a middle linebacker in the NFL. He is built like a brick

Wow...a single trade by Dallas suddenly makes them look like contenders as they beat up on OKC of all teams 146-111

nothing is a given in either conference any more
They got PJ Washington who was impressive then with the Hornets. I've never heard of center Gafford and he scored 19 points and had 8 rebounds. Now they have a solid frontcourt.
