More surprises for this Celtic fan. Who would have thought that 'after team consultation', Doc Rivers would sit his 4 starters yesterday against Miami claiming that chasing home court ad against the Heat is secondary to preserving his stars' health. It's a strategy and hopefully it will work out for the team.
As for tonight's Spurs/LAL game, my guess is that the Spurs would take it a bit easy, probably in the same mold as Boston's move to prevent injuries to its older players. I just can't wait for the playoffs to begin. A good friend here says come playoff time, the C's, Spurs and the Lakers play different ball, getting tough as the tough gets going. I want to see if that can still hold this season as the young, hungry teams are knocking real hard on the door. Are the vintage teams ready to pass on the baton?
