Wow, wow, wow and wow. Never expected that drastic a decision mainly because of legal issues. Seems the NBA Constitution would prevent Sterling from going to court. How much of the decision to hand down the "death penalty" was due to Sterling's lack of remorse?
so you don't believe in the right to privacy for private conversations ? Sounds that way. "1984". It is illegal to record people's private conversations without their knowledge.

What I read was David Stern knew about Donald Sterling and all of his bigotry but refused to deal with it because he didn't want his legacy to be forever remember as a long legal battle between the NBA and Stirling in the same way as Pete Rozelle will be remembered for The NFL vs AL Davis
there's plenty of money in Seattle from Steve Balmer and Chris Hansen to buy the Clippers and move them to Seattle. L.A. won't mind much, there is no real lease issue with a facility since the Lakers could/would realize a revenue gain in the market greater than the lease loss.
everybody wins. Ballmer and Hansen won't mind overpaying.
the only reason not to do it is to keep Seattle as leverage to get the arena deal for Milwaukee.

Wall and Beal. They still have lots of great years ahead. Nene back in deadly form. He's one of my favorite bigs in the league. Wished he suited up for the C's before. Wiz are playing with lots of energy and desire. They deserve the win.

Don't forget Trevor Ariza. Was a vital role player in the Lakers 09 champion team and when he was let go to another team the next year, I remember him doing one hell of a defensive job on Kobe that I wondered why the Lakers even let him go.
