New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Sterling banned for life from everything NBA + fine of $2.5M + Silver will do whatever he can to get board of governors to force a sale of the team

Wow, wow, wow and wow. Never expected that drastic a decision mainly because of legal issues. Seems the NBA Constitution would prevent Sterling from going to court. How much of the decision to hand down the "death penalty" was due to Sterling's lack of remorse?

so you don't believe in the right to privacy for private conversations ? Sounds that way. "1984". It is illegal to record people's private conversations without their knowledge.

Yes but it's now public no matter what.

We live in a different age Christian. Nothing is off the record nowadays. Litigenous and whatever.

Sadly once the team is sold Stirling will fade into the sunset and never be heard from again as he pockets another $1B or more

$2.5M is pocket change for the guy

I applaud Adam Silver's decision. Hope for a quick sale of the Clippers.

Will be interesting to see how the vote of the owners goes.

I read earlier that Magic tweeted that he isn't interested in buying the Clippers

+1. Gutsy move by Silver. Shows his resolve in his fairly new term as Commissioner.

What I read was David Stern knew about Donald Sterling and all of his bigotry but refused to deal with it because he didn't want his legacy to be forever remember as a long legal battle between the NBA and Stirling in the same way as Pete Rozelle will be remembered for The NFL vs AL Davis

there's plenty of money in Seattle from Steve Balmer and Chris Hansen to buy the Clippers and move them to Seattle. L.A. won't mind much, there is no real lease issue with a facility since the Lakers could/would realize a revenue gain in the market greater than the lease loss.

everybody wins. Ballmer and Hansen won't mind overpaying.

the only reason not to do it is to keep Seattle as leverage to get the arena deal for Milwaukee.

Clippers play a pivotal game 5 tonight at home. There must be some high emotions running at Staples.

I don't know what's worse...the Lakers missing the playoffs or the Bulls getting blown out in round one by Washington

Wizards up and coming team with that backcourt. Bulls couldn't handle them.

Not to be the cynic but it was all about the money.

I'm happy for Wall. He raised a lot of eyebrows with his talk early in the preseason but you gotta give it him. He's walked the walk.

Wall and Beal. They still have lots of great years ahead. Nene back in deadly form. He's one of my favorite bigs in the league. Wished he suited up for the C's before. Wiz are playing with lots of energy and desire. They deserve the win.

New poster boys for IN YOUR FACE SLAM DUNK. :D

Don't forget Trevor Ariza. Was a vital role player in the Lakers 09 champion team and when he was let go to another team the next year, I remember him doing one hell of a defensive job on Kobe that I wondered why the Lakers even let him go.
