New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

The last guy I want to root for is James as he had a rivalry with my C's back then (both in Cleveland and Miami). But, in case of a Warriors-Cavs Finals, I have a feeling I would like to see Cavs as a team win. I feel with LeBron playing as has has been playing, he can't be stopped. That is such a great advantage to have when you're Cleveland, anytime you need a score you just turn to him, and him being at the point is imo more deadly than when Magic was since he could also drive to the hoop with his power aside from his long range shooting, and even mid-range. And yes, he makes his teammates better. I can imagine James calling out at his coach to guard Curry when Curry gets hot. That, I'd like to see, the same way he took it on himself to guard Rose. Anyway, on to the final 4. :)

Howard may be questionable or gone for the next few games.

Shaun Livingston was the story tonight. Clutch plays clutch shots. 18 big points.

it's good for the Lakers as well because their first round pick from last year who didn't play a game (Julius Randle) is healthy and who knows what kind of season Kobe will have

I'm trying to imagine Kobe in his twilight year, blending with Randle and possibly Towns and other juniors in the team. Will he be their main point producer ala Harden or Curry, or off the bench ala Pierce? If he takes 30 shots or more a game, the rookies will not get their days in the court. :D

I wouldn't be surprised if KG lobbies for Towns since towns is a two way player as was KG. If that happens, I think it's better for LA in the sense that both Randle and Towns are 4s and Okafor is a 5. Towns has the wingspan and the range so Randle would have to take the 5 for which he is a bit too small. With Randle and Okafor there's the upside of a neo-Z-Bo/Mark Gasol front court.

And Kobe is the Courtney Lee? :D I'm green with envy that the Lakers got a No. 2. We C's haven't gotten higher than No. 3 since we got Chauncey Billups whom this genius Rick Pitino shipped off to the Raptors after a few months.

Very happy to see Livingston do well. Clippers drafted him in the first round in 2004 (# 4) and he was one of our great hopes for the future - a 6'7" point guard who could do it all. He has worked so hard to come back from what should have been a career ending injury in 2007. He deserves everything he gets.

With Howard most likely out for Game 2, McHale turns to one Clint Capela.

Rockets coach Kevin McHale said Capela can be a contributor, but it'll take a team effort to fill Howard's role if necessary.

''Clint's not going to turn into Dwight overnight,'' McHale said. ''He might. He'll have to hit the weight room first.''

When I first saw him play, I almost asked myself: "What is a Capela?" :D (With deference to Jack's 'What is a Mahinmi' a few years ago) :D

So maybe it's Shaun coming in big this year and not Steve Kerr's coaching. :D

Ouch, tough luck for Hawks with Carroll going down.

Interesting game, Cavs break Hawks' homecourt advantage. JR Smith is THE bench of the Cavs here, scoring 28 by himself against the Hawks bench of 18 points. I'm liking this burly Tristan Thompson, gotta monitor when he's a free agent and call Danny Ainge. :D
