New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

John Wall is amazing as Washington on a 26-0 run and up 20 over the Celts

The guy is a consistent scorer. Together with Beal, a most deadly backcourt.

Is it me or have others noticed Pop seems to have aged this past year and has slowed a step (even though his temperament hasn't:) )

I haven't noticed the former, but the later (temperament), yes. :)

In one of the most ironic statements I have ever heard from an NBA basketball player, Draymond Green called Kelly Olynyk a dirty basketball player.

"He's dirty, a dirty player," Green said on Uninterrupted's "Dray Day" podcast. "I don't respect guys like that. I know he's not the greatest basketball player of all time, so maybe he feel like he got to do that, but you don't have to do that. Just dirty. I don't respect that, man. He's dirty."

My goodness, Draymond Green is himself the dirtiest player I have ever seen in the NBA. Look in the mirror, Draymond. Draymond is the chief reason I cannot bring myself to root for the Golden State Warriors and I will be rooting against them this year as well, no matter their opponent.

I almost laughed at Green's statements. :D

I blame him for GS's loss last year, not just only for his dirty play, but lack of mind control.

Being a C's fan, it's difficult to see the hard pick set up by Olynyk as a dirty or flagrant play. The guy is a solid 7 footer, and he came as set up a pick, Ouvre tried to run through it, hit a wall, and well, flopped down - he was leaner than Olynyk. The only other recourse for Olynyk to do then, was to flop down himself, and that would be funny, as the 2 Kellys will simultaneously flop down, and that would have given the refs a tough call. Actually, like Olynyk who was complaining to the ref about the offensive (simple & common) foul on him, I don't even think it was an offensive foul but a good acting flop by Ouvre. And what does Draymond call a running forearm tackle during a dead ball by Ouvre? :D

+1

Great game tonight in San Antonio as the Spurs tie it at 101 to go into OT and win 110-107

What a game, two great teams in a slugfest. Manu proves he is ageless, contributing in crucial plays. Amazing guy.

The last play by Manu was amazing. Harden got around him and I thought he had a clear shot at the basket. Stunning when Ginobili blocked his shot from behind.

Celtics vs Wizards coming up. This is the season for the C's. A loss will virtually nail them to their duckboats. :D I never imagined to get an intense physical rivalry from these Wizards. I admire John Wall, and easily, LeBron will play FOR him during times of woe and defeat, or, had Lebron been born in DC. :D

People laughed at Wall when he tooted his own horn his rook season. Well, Wall's walked the walk. Hats off.

And Kawhi didn't play today due to an injury. The reserves like Murray and Anderson are stepping up.

With Leonard out I thought the Rockets would win for sure.

Glad the Spurs won and Harden didn't.

On ESPN post game Stephen A. Smith carved James Harden new butt hole. Said he was soft and a no show. He spared no words

With all due respect to Harden, he deserves every word and in fact owned up to the loss. Here in Manila if a superstar played that way in such a crucial game the common assumption would be that he sold out...

I have to admit that I briefly considered that he may have lost the game purposely. I did not watch the game but in the highlights he certainly looked pathetic.

Edit: He was so heartbroken over the loss he went to a strip club after the game. ;)

And Aldridge finally played like his monster self when he was a Trailblazer. Perhaps the loss of Kawhi in that game made him the main go-to guy, and he stepped up and made a lot of those jumpers that he's famous for. Too bad Parker is lost for the season. But Pop is good at solving these, I read before the mantra of the Spurs fans - In Pop We Trust. :D I still get a kick out his on court interviews. A 50-word question is answered by 2 words - Bad offense. No follow up questions, because the sideline announcer is bound to get another 2 worded answer if he did. My guess is - Good Offense. :D
