Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are the 5th duo since ‘76-77 merger with 30 points each in back-to-back playoff games joining LeBron James-Kyrie Irving (‘17), Shaquille O’Neal-Kobe Bryant (‘02), Hakeem Olajuwon-Clyde Drexler (‘95), Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen (‘92) @ESPNStatsInfo
And it is almost imperative that those $40m men perform like gold. I'm curious to know that was the salary of the Jordan Pippen tandem.

My random thoughts....

Funny how Jackson was put on the back burner for Schroeder in Detroit, they were both let go but it is Jackson now doing well.

Dallas is a piece away but I have no idea what that piece is or should be.
Jack, I remember that news when the Pistons signed Jackson to a massive 5-yr $80m in 2015. Some heads turned, but I still thought that he must have been a very good player to get that much. Over here at the Clippers side, it was nice to see him bust out of the bench and supplant Beverly in the starting lineup.

As for Dallas, a Porzi trade with Kemba has been suggested by some pundits. Of course that AD for Porzi bit that I got from a friend over here is a bit far fetched but that will be the missing piece for Dallas , for sure. :D

Wasn't the money the main reason for Scotty to leave?
He felt massively underappreciated money wise.
At least according to the awesome docu "the last dance"

Here is the Hoops Hype info on this salary. Look at the jump when he went to Houston then to Portland. Under paid in Chicago, we can see. :)

with Kyrie out and Donovan and the Jazz hurting, the playoffs IMO just took a turn,. Further the Hawks also have evened the series with the Sixers and Embiid is playing with a partially torn meniscus

As Jack early stated could it be the Bucks who prevail in the East and I now see a Clippers-Suns WC finals which could go either way although I have to admit that of all the teams in the playoffs, it is the Suns who are playing their hearts out game after game so I am leaning so far for the Suns to take the West, However the way the Clipps totally dismantled the Jazz in the last 2 games gives promise going forward

an Atlanta upset of the Sixers would be epic should it happen. I think it's possible.....

NBA playoffs 2021: The Atlanta Hawks are seemingly ahead of schedule and two games away from the East finals

Perhaps Nate McMillan will finally receive the credit he deserves as a head coach.

He turned around the Hawks season to get them into the playoffs when he took over after Lloyd Pierce was fired.

Nate is only the interim HC

Harden is playing. Bucks lead big early.

This PJ Tucker is tough as nails. Giving up some height to KD but still sticking with him.

Jeff Green, an injured starter, also plays tonight and is scoring well.
