with 2 games left in the NBA season there have been a lot of surprises but for me the biggest has been........"wtf happened to the Phoenix Suns as they finish the season completely out of playoff contention in the 11th position. I have to bet they will move KD in the off season. The pundits say he will go to the Mavs. A complete implosion this year

the final day of the regular season and so many playoff and play in spots up for grabs

Lakers have clinched 3rd spot and rest their starters nd play the game with the end of their bench and boy did they stink as they lost to the bench of the last place Blazers

The game to watch however was to determine which team plays the Lakers as the Clippers meet the Warriors at Chase Center. It was a knuckle;e biter iin a see saw battle to the end. It looked for a second that the warriors would prevail but in the dying moments of regulation Harden sinks two 3's and the game goes to OT.

The final five minutes was even more intense but Harden carried the team on his back and the Clippers win and will face the Nuggets . The Wolves with Clipopewrs loss back into the 6th spot and play the Lakers. Warriors loss puts them into the 7 position and destined to the Play In bracket

It should be a very good playoff season in both conferences as there are so many good teams that upsets will happen

And now for the games when legends are born... Wolves will be a tough out for your Lakers I think. While completely admitting to my bias as a multi-decade season ticket holder and real fan, I think folks are underestimating the Knicks. They just wanted first round home court and to get to the playoffs relatively healthy - they've got those. Let the games begin!

Good game at Denver with the Clipps leading almost the entire game. Ive never seen Jokic or Murray miss so many shots that normally they make with ease
However with 36 secs left on the clock the Nuggs take possession after Murray forces Kawhi to give up the ball .....on their last possession and Murray passes to Wesbrook inn the corner and he sinks the 3 to put Denver up 98-96 ..

Clipps take the ball with 23 secs left and harden sinks an easy shot to tie the game at 98 with 18 secs on the clock

With
shot clock off Denver takes the ball at half court and the Nuggs totally collapse as they could not get off the shot to force OT....In 5the final 5 minutes the Nuggs came alive, quickly took control and go ahead to stay with a failed inbound by Harden

What a bitter pill for the Clipps as they had the game easily won with Jokic and Murray off their game until OT

Final Nuggs 112-110 after Nuggs overcome a 15 point deficit

another good game at New York where it was either teams game with 18 lead changes until midway through the 4th when the Knicks finally got energized and took over the game. Knicks ignite and close out the Pistons to take game one

Final Knicks 123-112

Brunson is such a gifted player but Pistons show they can play

The Lakers as always started strong and built a 10 point lead until the 2nd period when ANT took over and began hitting 3's from everywhere .Lakers didn't know what hit them as they watched the Wolves build a 24 point lead. LeBron tried to make a game out of it and brought the game to within 17 but at end of the third the Wolves were in control leading 90-73 .

Fast break points says it all 23-4 for Wolves

If the Lakers continue to play like they did tonight they will be swept. ANT is a superstar but the rest of the Wolves team were in sync and played terrific whereas the Lakers were one and done on pretty much every play. DiVincenzo was like a spark plug as well whenever he was in the game. There is no question that the 3 point shot has changed the game completely as IMO this game turned around in the 2nd on 3's by ANT and the rest of the team. Lakwers were humiliated in their own back yard. Lakers go to their bench with 4 minutes left in the game as they throw in the white flag. What a disgrace.....JJ even played Bronny at the end:eek:

Final Wolves 117-95

Lakers totally were outplayed and outclassed. I still dont know how the Wolves finished in the 6 position (however they were only one game behind the Lakers and finished the season on a 17-4 run

as for the Knicks they were damn lucky to win that game asDetroit has a competitive team right now. As I watched the season come to an end I looked at the Pistons and the Bulls as upcoming teams in the East. I would think the Knicks should have learned something from yesterdays game

Happy Easter

watching the Thunder totally dominate the Grizz now makes me think there is no team now that will beat them in a 7 game series

at the half OKC lead 68-36 (and SGA only has 9 in the half)
@DLS there's no way the Knicks or any team will upset them IMO

well the Thunder just threw down the gauntlet with a dare to any and all opposition as they beat the Grizz by a mere 51 points in game one of their series. The Grizz were at their mercy as they had no answer to the completeness of the Thunder team. I just cant see any team, including the top 3 in the east beating them in a 7 game series

the addition of Jimmy Butler to the Warriors line up has IMO catapulted the GSW into a very dominant team that has potential in these finals as they are clobbering the Rockets

In the 3rd its all Warriors as they lead the Rockets 66-50 with 4:34 left

Rockets amazingly crawl back into the game to close it to within 4 points however Steph takes over as he always does late in the 4th and makes some unbelievable 3;s from at least 30 feet out to extend the lead to 7 with 3 minutes left in the game. Rockets again lose to within 4 but in the final 2 minutes its all Butler and Curry
GSW steal a big one in Houston to take away home court advantage

Final GSW 95-85
