If the Lakers continue to play like they did tonight they will be swept. ANT is a superstar but the rest of the Wolves team were in sync and played terrific whereas the Lakers were one and done on pretty much every play. DiVincenzo was like a spark plug as well whenever he was in the game. There is no question that the 3 point shot has changed the game completely as IMO this game turned around in the 2nd on 3's by ANT and the rest of the team. Lakwers were humiliated in their own back yard. Lakers go to their bench with 4 minutes left in the game as they throw in the white flag. What a disgrace.....JJ even played Bronny at the endAnd now for the games when legends are born... Wolves will be a tough out for your Lakers I think. While completely admitting to my bias as a multi-decade season ticket holder and real fan, I think folks are underestimating the Knicks. They just wanted first round home court and to get to the playoffs relatively healthy - they've got those. Let the games begin!
As Pat Reilly once said, "The playoffs don't begin until a home team loses..."Wolves played with confidence...Lakers played like rookies. If Wolves win game 2 this series could be done...which makes me wonder if LeBron will retire or suit up for one more season
Luck is the residue of hard work and desire...Lakers totally were outplayed and outclassed. I still dont know how the Wolves finished in the 6 position (however they were only one game behind the Lakers and finished the season on a 17-4 run
as for the Knicks they were damn lucky to win that game asDetroit has a competitive team right now. As I watched the season come to an end I looked at the Pistons and the Bulls as upcoming teams in the East. I would think the Knicks should have learned something from yesterdays game
Happy Easter
