Its time to change the VRLA batteries on my Dartzeel Preamp and I'm wondering if its possible to change these to Lithium batteries of the same rating??
There are lithium batteries labelled as Drop in replacements for VRLA.

Can these be used or should I just stick to the original VRLA type?

He does a Lithium battery upgrade and would likely ask me to send the unit to him.
Too much of a hassle from my location.

i don't really know the answer myself, and would have asked Jonathan were he still with us, but also Kevin Malmgren of Evolution might know the answer as he did do some warranty work for darTZeel from time to time.

here is my 2 cents.

i assume you have a Mk1 18NS, if so you should stick with the original spec batteries. the software is built around their characteristics.

Yes, Mk1. I guess will stick to the same batteries as the original. Thanks.
