miglto wrote to me and believes that Live in Paris is an analog recording, as he believes that Al Schmitt did not start recording in digital until around 2007.

For what it's worth, and it's probably not worth much, I don't think a digital recording from 2001 would sound as good as what I hear on this ORG LP.

I was preparing to write to Al Schmitt directly and ask him about this matter, but he died three years ago.

So why was it not released on LP till 10 years later and why only on CD and flac till then

Yes. I sold all of my Mo-Fi undisclosed digital transfer LPs.
And I presume you won't buy any like the Steely Dan, etc. recent remasters? Do you find them sub - par and if so, to what?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question.

My point is, there are many, many reviews of the Steely Dan remasters from MoFi 45RPM known to be the best versions available (and other artists), but you will not consider purchasing them because they're A -> D-> A?

It’s very unlikely MoFi stuff is really good. There are good reviews for everything.

No -- I would not consider purchasing them because I don't care for Steely Dan.

I was merely suggesting that Ron check out her studio albums as well.

Thank you, but I just like the one cover song.

I'm not a big fan of jazz standards or torch songs. And I find the pacing of her songs to be boring and painfully slow.

But painfully slow is perfect for "A Case of You."
