Not everyone likes his interpretations, but he has left quite a mark in the classical music world. Still recovering from serious health issues, but vibrant as ever. His Mahler recordings with the BSO are always at the top of my list.

I remember him before he was the conductor for the BSO when he started as the conductor for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra
