This friend of mine who believe tube , silver and wood are the best friends of good sounding, he is a analog guy without any digital in his system, and also using SS in filament power supply's regulator only, ebony root is his favor, everywhere in the system. especially in vinyl system, classical is main source, ESL 63 for full range and add on sub and super high in three way multi amp, all transmitting tube with silver transformer. all cables in silver include power cord too. the only thing that is unbalance is too small listening room with too much invested money, but he is quite happy with them, and enjoy the favor music everyday.

That turntable has a Fred Flintstone look about it-specially what I assume is the record weight.

Mark is right that is a home made record weight, made by ebony root, he bought about 6 or 7 different record weights from $200 to $500, till he found this home made is the best, and then he gave the next best one which he bought to me for free, one is enough for him to use, he also found out lift up the vinyl by those 4 flat ebony pieces don't let vinyl touch the table will sound better, replaced to a wooden tonearm (I am going to have his Dynavector arm for free too), and changed new cart with a wood shell ( I can have his Ven Den Hul Colibri if I want , but I quite happy with my Benz Micro Ruby,I am too lazy to set up another cart), so he is a real wood craze to give up those good items to me

This is a room after my own heart. A nice Da Vinci tonearm to boot! I like the antiseptic rooms, too, but this one looks like its all business and experimentation, a very active place.

Yeah, it is nothing less than a WAF chamber of horrors.
