Sigma V2 Speaker Cables

U can plug your amp into Everest. It can handle anything the wall can.

I hv giant amps and they aren’t held back by Everest at all. I think the old axiom of power conditioner only for front end doesn’t apply to Everest. Of course YMMV. But I would try amps in Everest. Also the XC cable is a must for Everest. IMO they should come as a bundle. I went for the Sigma one, but the Omega is better, just not enough for price difference in my system.

If I bought a Everest I would for sure pair with XC Omega , I always run amps direct to wall personal choice .

I agree. I have 3 dedicated lines run - one for the PC and one each for each mono amp. They are all on the same phase w/ 10 gauge wire. I also have whole house surge protection. The amps with Omega, Sigma sound good. Presently even my Alpha 1s sound good on the amps! - but those cables will soon change ...

Beautiful! They look impressive. As you know they need breaking in. 100 hours and you will be in nirvana.

Congrats! Worth a try connecting amps to Everest and doing an A B. Gabriel has said in other forums the Everest does not limit current at all. It worked for me. Anyway worth a try just to add experience to this discussion, even if u do return to the wall. I personally would love to read about your experiment!

Awesome!!! I hopefully receive mine today!!!

Your system looks like and I bet is a master of high resolution thanks to your good choices among components and system synergy.

The full loom of Shunyata products will contribute a lot to that low noise floor and increased resolution.

Keep us posted on the Sigma V2 speaker cables.

Enjoy

I’ll report back when I receive it - hopefully within two weeks. I have the Shunyata Hydra right now. It’s good, but a while back we tried a friend’s Denali for a weekend and the improvement was amazing. Blacker backgrounds a real jump in the sound... I’m expecting the Everest to be even better
Curious about your Denali vs Hydra comparison - what version Hydra and do you have a Typhon QR or was it just the Hydra that the Denali sounded better than?

No Typhon. Just the Hydra 12. The Denali was definitely an improvement. The Hydra is now gone and I have the Everest. Now that's improvement x 100% ...

You got 3 Aurender boxes ?

I have a N30SA which consists of two boxes and an ACS10 which consists of one box. So, yes three boxes.

We’re moving the Aurenders to the other side of the system when the TT gets here, but here is a front view presently. The amps will be moved a little more as well.

Do you have amps in the Everest too?

A major reason why I won't be upgrading to an Everest is that I would only use three ports. I might eventually upgrade each amp to the TOL Omega power cord.
